Description

The Duchess of Hamilton train (LMS Princess Coronation Class 6229) was built in 1938 in Crewe by the London Midland & Scottish Railway, for a cost of £11,302. It was in operation until February 1964 and is currently preserved at the National Railway Museum in York. Our wooden replica is the streamlined version of the Duchess of Hamilton and is licensed from the National Railway Museum, UK.
The Bigjigs Rail Heritage Collection offers a delightful range of replicas from the golden age of rail. Magnetic couplings ensure compatibility with all other engines and carriages in the Bigjigs Rail range. Most other major wooden railway brands are compatible with Bigjigs Rail.
