Melissa & Doug - Water Wow! Stir & Simmer

This is a pretend-play stovetop cooking set that uses Water WOW! colour-reveal technology. The play food pieces are white (“frozen” or raw) and when water is applied via the water-dispensing spoon or squeeze bottle, the food “cooks” by changing colour.

The set allows kids to drop the food into the pot or on the stovetop griddle, stir or sauté vegetables, proteins, or steam “meal disks” like rice, soup, spaghetti or mac and cheese. When dry, the pieces return to white so they can be used again. The set encourages imaginative play, cause-and-effect understanding, fine motor skills, sorting and counting.
